Grace “Gracesyn” Ballard is a trans author, psychotherapist, and sex therapist based in Brooklyn.  Gracesyn’s writing has appeared in multiple publications, including The New York Times, as well as a story in Doric Literary, which received more views than any previously published by the magazine, and was nominated for Best American Short Stories. Their work has appeared in Dandelion Revolution Press, Bust Magazine, Literary LEO, and :30 Second Friendships. They authored a political and cultural column for BRAT Magazine throughout its publication. Gracesyn’s collection of short stories, “Lost and Found,” was written while living on a communal farm in Skibby, Denmark. Gracesyn received their BA in science fiction writing from Hampshire College, and is an MFA student of fiction writing at The New School.  They are working on their sixth novel manuscript while MMA fighting and biking through New York.
